2027   Turkey Specialized Collection. 1863-1961, in two albums, one goes to 1917 and neatly arranged with unused and used Postage and Postage Due stamps from the period, the major numbers are almost complete, except for the 1911 Overprints (but does include unused sets of the 20th Century) and includes seldom seen stamps such as 1867 25pi Orange (No. 19, small faults) and 1871 1pi Postage Due with rough perf and Brown Red Border (No. J27, faults as usual), much of the interest lies in the numerous shades, varieties (both listed and unlisted in Scott), errors, etc., particularly from the 1863-84 issues, the second album is mostly from the 1920-61 period, with many unused sets, some varieties, and also some pre-1917 issues, plus Cilicia, Hatay, Thrace, European Post Offices in Turkey, and more, condition is somewhat mixed, overall a wonderful collection containing many elusive stamps
