Lot Sym. Lot Description
1106   Image3c 1851-57 Issues, Dr. W. F. Amonette Color Study (10-11). Arranged by year, containing twelve No. 10-10A singles and a cover, 65 No. 11-11A singles, each hinged on acid free 6 x 4 inch cards, featuring scarce and rare shades such as the 1851 Experimental Orange Brown, "Copperish" (on cover), Reddish, Yellowish, several Carmine, Clarets and even Plum, a fair number of four-margined examples, signed "W. F. Amonette 8-1-04", Very Fine and important shade study for the 3c specialist, as the long-time color expert on the 3c 1851 Issue we have no doubt that the identifications are correct, however not returnable if the P.F. disagrees (Image)
