3002 TC ImageNew York N.Y., 5c Trial Color and Plate Proofs (9X1TC5, 9X1P5). 12 stamp-size proofs, complete set of the trial colors on bond with an extra Green, group of the plate proofs on bond from the sheet of nine, also one cut down large die proof with scar on neck and dot in "P", appears to be a bluish black rather than the standard Black, all but one proof with at least clear margins, several are large, Very Fine group, Scott Retail more than $2,000.00 (Image)
