Only 434 sets were issued and placed on sale for one week in October 1961. The majority were used to make up first day covers. Dr. Killien's set is one of the very finest (if not the finest) sets extant.

Incl. a nice selection of early Queen Victoria heads, incl. some varieties (identifications have all been verified by an expert), complete from 1890 onward less the Badge of Colony set and the Tristan Relief set, plus there are some shade varieties of the 1938 King George VI issue (verified by a KGVI expert), condition superior to what is normally found, even the earlier issues are better centered and fresher than usual, mostly Very Fine-Extremely Fine, SG value
