VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE $500.00 SERIES 1942 STOCK TRANSFER IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL STOCK TRANSFER STAMPS. PERHAPS A HALF-DOZEN EXIST, AND THIS IS ONLY THE THIRD EXAMPLE WE HAVE OFFERED SINCE KEEPING COMPUTERIZED RECORDS. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WE HAVE OFFERED WITHOUT A PERFIN CANCEL.

This rare issue was missing from the Floyd, DePriest, Wampler and Tolman collections. The only two examples contained in Power Search were offered in our "Scarsdale" and Schauss auctions, and both had perfin cancels. (Image)
