704 og PHILIPPINES, 1945 "Victory" Handstamp Overprint Lot (464/481, E9, J16-J22, U43, U45, UX22). 35 items, mostly singles, but incl. a few multiples, incl. Nos. 470 (faults), 471 (pair), 474, 475, 477, E9, the Postage Due set and some Postal Stationery entires and one postal card, also one cover with ten stamps incl. Nos. 474, 481 and three Postage Dues, some with typical gum problems incl. wax interleaving adherence, most Fine or better, these were all obtained from a soldier stationed in the Philippines right after the end of the war, the Scott Retail of this scarce group is in excess of $7,000.00
