VERY FINE AND EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1910 POSTAL TELEGRAPH COMPANY BLACK ON YELLOW LAID WITH "1909" DATE.

The Postal Telegraph-Cable Co. Black on Yellow Laid was issued with a "1910" date. This "1909" date is apparently an error and was reportedly discovered in 1990. It also has a different font for the serial number. It is listed but unpriced in Scott and noted without comment in the Kramer book. This is the first example we have encountered (Image)
