VERY FINE. A SPECTACULAR 1904 8-CENT SURCHARGE BLOCK CONTAINING BOTH OF THE ANTIQUE TYPE VARIETES. ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING MULTIPLES OF THE EARLY CANAL ZONE ISSUES.

Only ten of the Antique "Zone" variety are believed to have been printed. We are aware of only one other block containing both the Antique "Canal" and "Zone" (the ex-Salz example, in the same configuration as this block)
