Original gum, showing clear doubling of red line and "5" at right with an additional red mark at left, fresh color, Very Fine, with 1986 B.P.A. certificate stating "red surcharge double", while still listed in Scott (unpriced) this variety has been subsequently removed from Stanley Gibbons, current belief is that these are really "kiss" prints than a true "double", although other examples that we have seen are provided with a much lighter second overprint than this, therefore we offer this based upon its own merits (Image)
