2787   Cuba Comprehensive Specialized Collection Offered Intact as Received. Housed in twenty binders, from pre-stamp covers right up to 2010 issues, the stamps have just about a complete run of major number stamps (except there are no 1898-99 Puerto Principe issues), but the bulk of the value will be found in more specialized material, such as blocks, proofs, specimens, varieties, imperforates, errors, etc., plus there are covers scattered throughout, pre-stamp covers incl. a wide variety of towns and markings, plus some Spain used in Cuba, 1855 First Issue has several singles of each value, incl. shades, plus blocks, many 1855-56 -1/4r Surcharges incl. two on cover fronts with certificates, the later Spanish issues contain singles and many blocks, incl. blocks of four of the 1868 Overprint set, the United States issues have singles, imprint and plate number strips of three, and blocks of four, plus proofs incl. No. E2TC1a large die proof (cut down) and Postal Stationery with Specimen overprints, the early Republic issues are strong, with numerous varieties and proofs, of particular note are the many inverted centers of the 1910 Issue, with singles of 1c (two), 2c, 10c and 10c Special Delivery, plus blocks of four of 1c, 2c and 10c Special Delivery, all throughout this era there are many proofs, often in blocks of four, from the ANBC and Waterlow printers, imperforate sets in blocks of four incl. 1914 Maps and the 1951 Chess set, also Scott Nos. 278 and E6 in imperforate blocks which are noted on the pages as being unique, sets from the 1930s and 1940s incl. gutter blocks, also a solid run of unused sets from the Communist era, which is not easy to assemble, condition is a little mixed on the early issues as expected, however the important items, such as the proofs and imperforate sets, are generally Fine-Very Fine, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone who wants an already extensive collection on which to build, For partial scans (9.6mb) of this lot, go to http://www.siegelauctions.com/2014/1086/pdf/2787.pdf

2791 og France Unused Collection Balance. 1849-1982, in two Lighthouse hingeless albums, much of the value in 19th Century, the First Issue incl. two 20c Black and four different Re-Issues, incl. the 15c and 1fr, later issues filled with stamps cataloging several hundred dollars each from all issues incl. the Sage series, slight duplication incl. a few varieties, there are also a handful of used stamps, 20th Century is quite well filled, incl.
