Interesting lot of five covers, incl. 1c and 5c imprint and plate no. strips of three June 1907 registry use to Canada (two basically identical covers from same correspondence, slight soiling), a June 10, 1907 registered "set" cover (extra 2c), a very large Nov. 1907 cover franked with two 1c singles and four strips of three paying postage and special delivery fee, small hand illustrations and cryptic message to "Mr. Letter Carrier" about where to locate addressee, some light soiling and couple cover tears, and 1c and 2c blocks of four with pair No. 537 on a registered fancy cancel cover from 1929, interesting lot of scarce covers

4284 c A.E.F. Registered Cover from General Bandholtz. Large size cover to Constantine Mich. franked with seven different Washington-Franklin values, five are 1917 Perf 11 incl. 5c, 10c and 12c value and 1c and 3c Offset, all lightly tied by "U.S. Military Postal Service Registered/No 706/5 Mai 1919" large blue double-circle datestamps, A.P.O. 706 was the General Headquarters at Chaumont, France, self-censored by Bandholtz with his bold signature at bottom left, two more similar covers accompany addressed to Bandholtz, same markings, etc. but do not appear to have gone anywhere, Very Fine and colorful scarce lot, General Bandholtz is also noted for his manufacture of press-printed "O.B."
