VERY FINE AND EXTREMELY RARE. AN OUTSTANDING COMBINATION OF A BISECTED USE OF THE 20-CENT GREEN ISSUE ON A QUARTERMASTER'S DEPARTMENT SEMI-OFFICAL COVER.

Examples of the 20c Green Issue used on Confederate semi-official imprint or handstamped covers are uncommon. This bisected use of the 20c on a semi-official handstamped cover is almost surely unique.

Accompanied by a 1934 letter from August Dietz attesting to the authenticity of the bisect use. With 1976 P.F. certificate (Image)
