EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A TRULY OUTSTANDING USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1861 90-CENT BLUE WITH EXCEPTIONALLY WIDE MARGINS. THIS IS THE ONLY 90-CENT 1861 GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.E.

Ex Hinrichs and Dauer. 1991 and 2004 P.F. certificates no longer accompany. With 2012 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $14,000.00 as 98). This is the highest grade awarded to this Scott number in any category (OG, used etc.) and it is the only example to achieve this grade. (Image)
