VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A RARE USED EXAMPLE OF THE CUBA 1899 2-CENT WITH INVERTED OVERPRINT.

One sheet was found in the town of Placetas. Of these, 25 were unused and the remaining 75 were used. Only a very few of each survive today.

FINE APPEARANCE AND A GREAT RARITY OF CUBA AND UNITED STATES POSSESSIONS COLLECTING.

This is the only complete booklet of the 1899 2c Royal Palms issue we have encountered. The individual panes themselves are rare, and this booklet is a remarkable artifact despite the condition.
