VERY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING SOUND EXAMPLE OF THE RARE V. R. POWELL ONE-CENT ON WHITE WRAPPER.
The Aldrich census records only 16 of the White Wrapper variety. Fewer than half are sound.

EXTREMELY FINE. THIS IS REGARDED TO BE THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THE EXCEEDINGLY RARE ONE-CENT E. K. SMITH ROULETTED PRIVATE DIE MATCH STAMP.
Ten copies of the E.K. Smith Roulette are recorded in the Aldrich census, of which eight are faulty, with the statement "the condition is usually very, very poor." Aldrich also states he would not be surprised if half were actually fakes. The huge margins on this stamp preclude fakery, the possibility of which plagues several of the other examples of this issue.

FINE APPEARING EXAMPLE OF THE RARE ONE-CENT WILMINGTON PARLOR MATCH COMPANY MAP DESIGN ISSUE ON SILK PAPER. ONLY EIGHT ARE RECORDED IN THE ALDRICH CENSUS.
Of the 8 examples recorded in the Aldrich book, 6 are faulty. This is only the second example we have offered since keeping computerized records, the other ex Tomlan.
