FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE VARIETY OF THE J. S. BURDSAL & CO. ONE-CENT BLACK ON SILK WRAPPER.

The regularly listed Orange Silk Wrapper (RS45b) is itself rare, with only five recorded in the Aldrich book. A similar example to this Yellow Silk variety was offered as lot 1222 in the Joyce sale.
