1788 c Image5c Red Brown (1). Horizontal pair, large margins except top left corner slightly diagonal just touching frameline, dark shade, tied by well-struck red "Ann Arbor Mic. Mar. 23" circular datestamp, repeated at left on 1848 blue folded letter to Detroit, light vertical file folds well away from left stamp which has a small corner nick, right stamp few tiny toned spots, otherwise Very Fine, a beautiful 5c 1847 cover, the rate from Ann Arbor to Detroit was 5c, this is an unusual double 5c rate, with 2011 P.F. certificate (Image)
