964   Balance of the Neinken 1c 1857 Plate 5 Collection. 112 items, including singles (a few unused), pairs and strips, also a few covers, all mounted on Neinken's original pages with his detailed plating notes, a fascinating study of Plate 5 by the expert who unraveled the mystery of Plate 5's composition, approximately 75% of the stamps (including those in multiples) are Type Va, includes 49-50R5 with trace of imprint, vertical Ty. Va strip Positions 80/90/100R5 which Neinken describes as a "marvelous plating piece", Ty. Va strip of five, Ty. V-Va-Va combination strip Positions 26-28L5, centering varies, some condition issues as is to be expected in a study collection based on plate varieties, still a very desirable holding assembled by one of the premier authorities on the 1c 1851-57 Issue and still intact on his personal album pages, Scott value must be more than $20,000.00
