VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A SCARCE EXAMPLE OF THE $100.00 GREEN SERIES 1940 HANDSTAMPED IN BLUE. ONLY THIRTEEN ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST, AND FEW ARE SOUND.

Richard Friedberg records a total of thirteen used copies of this issue. Of these at least six have faults.

Four of the eight recorded examples of this issue are unused. Two of the used copies have small faults, leaving only this stamp and the ex Joyce/Floyd copy as sound.
