The strip has full margins with neat oval grid cancels & is tied by a red St. John's Newfoundland Paid cancel and a Boston 17 Dec rec cancel. The reverse side has 2 additional Boston rec cancels. VF. A fabulous & exceedingly rare cover. THIS IS THE FINER OF TWO KNOWN COVERS TO THE USA (or anywhere else) BEARING THIS FRANKING, AND IS THE LARGEST NEWF'D PENCE ISSUE MULTIPLE ON COVER. A WONDERFUL SHOWPIECE. Has 1983 Diena Certificate and 2018 Greene Foundation Certificate.
