950 /o/ imageAnnotated collection of stamps printed in Japan for other nations, presented in 13 binders, a research project unlike any other we've seen: a collection of stamps from Japan, without a single one from the country; these are stamps printed in Japan (by the Japanese Government Printing Works or by private companies, such as Toppan) on behalf of other countries; the coverage is wide-ranging, with binders for Bhutan; Burma; Cambodia; Costa Rica, Colombia & Nicaragua; Hong Kong; Iraq; Korea; Malaya (Kingdom, Malaysia & Singapore); Nepal; New Zealand; Philippines (two volumes); and Trucial States (Abu Dhabi & Sharjah); the Bhutan is particularly nice, including many of their lenticular, 3-D, and printed-on-steel issues; clean on the whole, with singles, First Day Covers and blocks, many with imprints; documentation on each issue, as well as correspondence, is included as well, Very Fine overall, be sure to view—you're not likely to see another collection like this soon.
