2071 A5 imageDominica, Great Britain Used in Dominica, 1856 6d lilac (Scott A5), horizontal pair with wing margin at the left, tied on an 1859 folded letter to London by two incomplete strikes of a Roseau "A07" barred numeral; letter datelined "Dominica, River Estate", Sep 28, 1859, with a mostly clear Dominica double-arc despatch datestamp of the same date on the reverse and a neat red London PAID receiving c.d.s. (Oct 18) on the front; pair with a small tear in the wing margin and a heavy vertical file fold in the cover running through the right stamp; there is also a small sealed tear at top edge of the cover; otherwise a Fine and rare usage., with a 1968 R.P.S.L. certificate.
