1782 /o/   imageSwitzerland, Mint and Used Collection Loaded With Mint N.H. Blocks, 1852-1991. A superb original estate collection comprised of many hundreds of mint and used singles, blocks and a few covers, all neatly mounted in 3 binders on quadrille pages. Almost all of the value is in mint 20th century and much is in position blocks of 4 from 1935 to 1991. We also note several nice covers and a plethora of both mint and used sets and singles. The semi-postals are extremely strong in position blocks and souvenir sheets including B80, B89 (2), B110, B119, B130-132, B144 on cover, B297, B323 and more. Well worth a look at this attractive collection. The late owner placed a Scott catalog value of over $5000 in 1990. Condition is almost all Fine to Very Fine with much mint n.h.

1783 /o/   imageSwitzerland, Standing Helvetia and Numeral Issues, 1882-1907. A terrific lot, the Standing Helvetia are all used and are nearly complete by Scott (apparently lacking only #88c, 122b, 124a & 125a), and there are certificates for #111 & 121a; the Numerals are also complete used, plus there are some nice mint including #76 NH. In addition, there are nine covers or cards franked with lower values. And condition is clean and F-VF throughout. An exceptional lot.

1785 /o/   imageSwitzerland, Tête-Bêche & Se-Tenant Combinations, 1908-1991. A nice, completely intact, one-collection mounted on homemade pages neatly captioned in German; the tête-bêche material is mostly used while the se-tenant and gutter combinations are both MNH and used including 22 of 25 possible combinations of the 1942 Recycling Issue. An excellent lot; all clean and Very Fine. Scott value for the tête-bêche pairs is $635, with an additional CHF3000+ in Zumstein for se-tenant and gutter combinations.

A marvelous, intact two-volume collection mounted in Zumstein order on homemade pages neatly captioned in German; the collection is complete for the period, both MNH and used including the souvenir sheets, B105 & B119; in addition just about all issues are also present on cover (not including the two previously-mentioned souvenir sheets), most of which are First Day covers. A tremendous lot; all clean and Very Fine. Scott value for the stamps is about $1,700, while Zumstein adds about CHF1700 for the FDCs.
