Very Fine and most unusual.

709   imageUnited States, 1929, America Flight, intercepted radio messages from Graf Zeppelin, original transcript of extracts from four different shortwave radio broadcasts from the airship to Tuckerton, N.J. on Aug 3, two days out from Friedrichshafen, intercepted by the yacht Savarona anchored at Cannes, France; content includes the discovery of a stowaway, seeing mail bags dropped over Santa Maria, Azores, and singing and playing cards well into the night. Also included is the transcript of another message intercepted by Savarona during her return cruise on Aug 21, from the the S.S. President Harrison, detailing the Harrison's rescue of the crew of the sunken German steamer Quimistan. This last was broadcast to the editor of the New York Daily News. Interesting.
