U.S. Stamps continued...

1923-2017 Issues continued...
LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
1861 752-755, 756-760, 76 image1935, Farley Group (Scott 752-755, 756-760, 764-765, 766-771), complete uncut sheets, all of the panes in this lot have been gummed (including some numbers that Scott said were not accepted for gumming, possibly favor issues or privately gummed, so there is no guarantee about the gum's origin). Stamps include: 752 sheet of 400; 753, 754-55, 756-60 and 764-65 sheets of 200; 766-67 sheets with 9 s/s each; 768 sheet of 25 souvenir sheet; 769-70 sheets containing 20 souvenir sheets and a 771 sheet of 200; some small faults, light creases, small edge tears or perf separations, overall condition is mostly sound, generally Fine to Very Fine, a great specialist lot with huge profit potential.
Scott $6,009 for no gum.
Estimate $2,000 - 3,000

In 1940, the Post Office Department offered to accept some of the ungummed 1935 Farley Special Printing sheets to be gummed. This program was not widely known so few collectors actually participated, and these gummed stamps are quite scarce. According to Scott, only 756-65 and 769-70 were accepted in this program.

1862 756-765 image1935, 1¢-10¢ National Parks complete, imperf (Scott 756-765), uncut complete sheets of 200, overall condition is mostly sound; some small faults, light creases, small edge tears, 765 10¢ sheet missing block of 10 from upper left sheet, generally Fine to Very Fine, a great specialist lot with huge profit potential, one could break down these sheets and do well as they often sell for $100 per set for singles, with plate blocks and positional blocks a nice premium.
Scott $30,000+.
Estimate $15,000 - 20,000
