C.S.N, Columbus, Georgia"; backflap with manuscript "Recd Sept 28th 1862, pr Steamer Jackson" and presumably carried part of the way by Apalachicola River Steamer "Jackson" which plied the Chattahoochee River, a Very Fine usage, a scarce stamp and cancel--a great addition to your Confederate Navy collection.
