1920   imageHawaii, 1995, reproduction of $500 1879-1880 Hawaiian Kingdom reprint banknote, reproduced and engraved directly from the original printing plates. This incredibly desirable and remarkable note was designed by the American Bank Note Company in 1879. This not is unknown in circulated condition. King Kalakava is featured alongside other beautiful engravings. A similar example of this 1995 uniface reprint was sold at auction $575, perfect for collateral or framing by any collector of Hawaii, also includes description and history of set by ABN, and the original envelope for the entire set, in exquite condition, Extremely Fine.
