1827   imageLarge collection of vintage Zeppelin picture postcards, about 150 cards with a very large percentage being World War I or earlier and more than half being mint; we note about 25 U.S., British or French cards, but the rest seem to be virtually all German, including one used from Lebanon (1928); includes a good number of real photos, a few comic cards that happen to picture airships, and a few other collateral items like a Leibig trade card picturing early airplanes (no airships), a "Gott strafe England!" [God punish England] Zeppelin shaped label on the flap of a 1916 German Feldpost cover, and a 1935 HAPAG South America Flight time table. A fabulous lot, virtually all clean and Fine to Very Fine.
