2303 F   imageItalian Occupation of Trent and Trieste, Forgeries Assortment. An interesting and useful holding, mostly used and mounted on pages, including a fair number of examples attributed to several forgers and showing characteristics such as: heavy apostrophes in overprint, "X" in "XI" wide open, period after "3" incorrect, dot in "I" of" "Italia"" elongated, end of tail of the apostrophe is 0.2 mm from "d" instead of 0.25 mm, traces of ink around overprints, "O" in "Trentino" thin or broken on left side & fake postmarks, including some inverted overprints and some tied on covers. Excellent reference material that deserves the attention of a specialist, Fine to Very Fine.
