1684 7 imageConfederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue, Archer & Daly printing (Scott 7), block of six, margins all around including sheet margin at left, affixed over the backflap on the reverse of a legal size cover to Griffin, Ga., canceled two neat strikes Forsythe, Geo cds, 23 Apr (docketed 1863); on the face of the cover, which contained court documents; on the front is another strike of the Forsythe c.d.s., along with a Griffin cds used as a receiving mark (also 23 Apr); small reduction at the right and edge flaws on the other three sides, but a very nice and not commonly seen usage of larger block of the Richmond Print stamps paying six times the letter rate.
