980 67 image1861, 5¢ buff (Scott 67), o.g., lightly hinged, among the most desirable examples of this rarity we have ever had the pleasure to offer at public auction, an extraordinarily well centered Jefferson with alluring rich color; couple trivial nibbed perforations along the left side of the stamp are inconsequential to a stamp of this quality, and are not mentioned on either of the certificates of authenticity that accompany this spectacular stamp; finding a quality mint 5¢ buff is one of the most challenging accomplishments, and the lucky buyer of this stamp will own one of the finest obtainable examples of this stamp, Very Fine, 1976 and 2005 P.F. certificates.
