217 LJ2 imageGerman States: Baden, Rural Postage Due, 1862, 3kr black on yellow (Scott LJ2), two singles on reverse of 1863 folded cover posted unfranked to Biengen, overlapped and tied by two Altbreisach c.d.s.s (13 Apr) with an additional strike on the front; the letter has been "turned", the original usage with a 3kr perf 10 (corner defect) canceled "74" with oval "Postablage/Biengen" and straightline Krotzingen"; Fine and highly unusual, especially so with the Dues canceled by datestamp instead of by blue pencil as was normal practice.
