6348   imageGreat Britain, 1934 (May 7-Dec. 19), Rocket Post covers, the first sent not by rocket, but a post card bearing the 1934 APEX Air Post Exhibition label (used, overprinted, on the latter two covers) in green and tied by blue Exhibition cachet and ½d adhesive tied by special winged cancel; a June 6 cover (E-Z #2C1 with cachets #1 and 2, and bearing red Exhibition label overprinted in blue (#2A2)) and a December 19 cover (E-Z #5C1a with label #5A1), the reverse of which bears a black-on-blue trilingual "By Rocket" pictorial seal, seals front and back signed and tied by Gerhard Zucker, incredibly fresh, Very Fine, #2C1 rare, with only 371 flown, .

Squadron 35 Goodwill Flight, two covers and a card, the first cover is posted at Hempstead, New York on Jul 19 upon arrival from England; it is signed by Wing Cmdr. Alan Craig; the card is one of the 100 flown by F/O H Lamb, franked and postmarked at New York (Aug 22), Gander, Newfoundland (Aug 23), and Gravely, England (Sep 16); the second cover is a short flight made by Wing Cmdr. Craig from Mitchell Field and return on Aug 22 (Hempstead c.d.s.) on the day the squadron departed for England; it is documented as such by Craig on the cover.
