744 image 1896-S VG Detail original. A decent looking coin except for two lumps of metal (solder?) on the rev worn down to being flat. There are also remnants of an attempt to remove the metal. The coin's overall appearance is still acceptable especially for this very scarce issue in the Barber Quarter series. But inspection is recommended. (Image) (imageb)

746 image 1913-S G+ original. Abt two-and-a-half letters of LIBERTY show on this coin making it a near miss for VG. Still a very nice coin for the grade assigned. One of the "Big 3" in the Barber Quarter series along with the 1896-S and 1901-S. This issue has the distinction of having the lowest mintage of any coin struck for general circulation since 1900 to the present. (Image) (imageb)
