Cons 48-1865, part o.g.; vertical crease not mention on certificate, Fine appearance, this invoice of only 21 stamps was sent to one individual as a courtesy by the government, none of its stamps are known used or on cover (value code J $600-1000).

Cons 229-1865, boxed Queretaro date stamp cancel (Schatzkes 1262), huge margins; couple tiny thins, Extremely Fine appearance, although 1,000 were issued, a great many were among the 1,206 returns at the end of the issue and some were distributed to sub-offices (Salamaca is known), John Bash mentions it is "not reported" in the July 1985 edition of Mexiciana (page 131), ex-Pietsch.

Since Pachuca was in French hands and Bustamente was the Republican Governor to the north, arrangements would have to have been made for the passage of the mail across the lines.
