Large stockbook with in-depth and comprehensive study of the 1907 surcharged issue, Scott 129-170 (SG 144-184, Kneitschel 146-186), arranged per S.G. catalog with a plethora of varieties; including inverted, double, missing "5", dropped "t", "d", small "v", "c", raised "o", incomplete "1","a", broken bars etc, contains many corner blocks, plate numbers with a few covers; this attractive accumulation of more than 970 stamps took many years to assemble and should be viewed to appreciate the thoroughness and quality throughout, majority of material ex: Moorhouse, please inspect.

3153 /      San Marino, Specialized Overprint & Surcharge Group, 1935-56. 260 stamps in all, most in multiples as large as a block of 24; includes a nice section of airmail issues with overprint proofs (on proof papers) for C54 (blocks of 4 & 21 and a pair), C56 (two blocks of 10), C79 (block of 12 & 3 pairs) and C96 (blocks of 4, 16 & 21); sheet of 50 C41 with a "double horizon" printing flaw across 10 stamps; C74 with a horizontally "split" overprint & another with full offset of overprint on reverse (Sassone A94a-b, €235), regular issue with overprint varieties on 1947 Roosevelt issue, Scott 257A, 257B and 257G-I, mostly shifted colors or overprints, also includes 1935 Airmail covers to Khartoum & Cairo; a nice group for the specialist.
