Labor Day Weekend Special - Visual Pricing Guide Explained using Six Lots from the upcoming Matthew Bennett Auction

In this 2nd video introducing the Visual Pricing Guide, we take six lots from the upcoming Matthew Bennett Auction to pull it all together. The video shows how 20 years of pricing can be used to verify and expand the information provided by the auction firms. An added histogram takes the same data and presents it by year.

Our Visual Pricing Guide is not as detailed as Provenance or Census, but for $50 a year it takes Get Market Data to the next level. It uses a percentile approach to present the data so the trends are obvious. If after watching the video, you want to test drive it for 45 days -- email me and I will sign you up for a demo. But the video should convince you to go ahead and do the $49.95 / year BASIC Extended features without a trial period.

The video is the best way to explore this feature as each of the 6 different examples provides a different aspect to the tools, market data, provenance and census. Often this graph looks like a hocky stick. You can see how after a short number of examples, the graph starts to level out. The next graph shows the same historic information by year.

This graph takes the same values from the top 10% percentile above and graphs them by the year the lot was sold. This is a typical result for the 20 years of data. There are a few record prices that stand above the rest, but for the most part, the market has been stable with a base level of support for the stamps at this quality.

This feature is part of BASIC Extended Features at its full price of $49.95 per year renewing. It is too server intensive to include it with the $19.95 discounted version. So if you want the Visual Guide, you will need to upgrade -- sorry no pro rata refund on your $20 payment. If you already have BASIC extended features or PREMIUM extended features then this is part of your existing service.
