1836 O/og United States imageExtensive Advanced Collection in Two Stanley Gibbons Senator Albums, 1851 to 1991, a lovely collection which is predominantly used but does have mint here and there. Starts out with a 6 page study of Scott #25-26, with postmarks, types, plate flaws, etc. #65 is represented with 2 pages (54 stamps) of shades and postmarks, and most of the definitives and commemoratives after that are treated in the same way, with shades, postmarks, including many fancy corks and precancels, grills, varieties, etc. We note two sets of Columbians (one to the 10c and one to the 30c, plus a page of duplicates), Trans-Mississippi to the 10c, complete Pan-Americans and appears to be close to complete from the 1930s to the end, and includes a selection of Air Mails. Enormous catalogue value, with way too many good items to describe here, but viewing will give a better idea of the scope involved, so should our 19 scans online. Some faults, especially in the early material, rest is overall fine or better.
