1447 O/og/CVR Worldwide Mint and Used Stamps and Cover Lot, starts with a collection of Ships on Stamp (all sorted by country in envelopes, with hundreds of stamps, plus a book "Ships on Stamps"), several dozens of envelopes with mostly used but also some mint stamps, sorted by country, including some better material, envelopes of on-paper mixture, an old world album with pre-WWII stamps, a book "Marine Mammal Postage Stamps" and a box containing covers and cards, with better material such as a 1954 crash cover from Moose Jaw (accompanied by a letter from the District Post Office Inspector), about a dozen diplomatic covers from Chile to Canada in the 1960s, colourfully franked, some FDC, as well as dozens of covers and cards from a wide variety of countries to the same person in British Columbia (probably just under 200 covers and cards). This machine originates from Hamilton Ontario and still has the names of the two last vending machine service companies that owned it. Appears complete (except for key) and owner states that it recently worked until it was placed on its side by a mover. It has glass on both sides (one pane is cracked) to see the mechanics inside.
