There are a large number of "very fancy" postmarks here, including a small crown, many geometrics, Free Mason (Lacelle #1308, with two copies on 1c orange), insects, stars, starbursts, coloured, Lacelle #1040, and so much more, on values from the 1c to the 10c (stamps alone have high catalogue value, with many early shades). 942 CVR/O RPO Collection of Maritime RPO Cancels in Two Volumes, with about 54 covers and cards and probably even more stamps, mostly written-up or displayed on pages. One volume is a well written-up collection of "A Postal History of the Dominion Atlantic Railway" (this one has only covers and cards, and no stamps, and includes several RPO Newsletters from the early 1980s). 945 CVR   Collection of First Day Covers, 1952 to 1990s with over 800 in all. The pre-Canada Post are often without cachet and mailed, but we note about 100 seldom seen (mostly oversized) cacheted covers from private companies such as Schering Corporation in Pointe Claire. Some of these early covers are sometimes accompanied by the issued stamp, usually in blocks, as well as the advertizing pamphlets, including the early black and white ones. Covers in the 1980s and 1990s are usually in pairs, sometimes for a different stamp combination, sometimes they are identical. We also note a few Calgary Stampede cachets, CNE in Ottawa, Saskatoon Exhibition, PNE Vancouver, as well as Edmonton and Regina Exhibitions and some common issues with the USA.
