1940 cover from Laghouat Internment camp (mailing address c/o U.S. Consul, Algiers), at the edge of the Sahara Desert, administered by the Vichy French and supervised by the Italo-German Armistice Commission, with "Opened by Examiner 445" label, French hs and Laghouat, Alger cds, fine.
