Two strikes on part paste-up cover to New York City, dated "Sep 21" but awaited monthly ship until "Oct 3" departure when it received a second strike, handed over for local delivery with "Boyd's City Post, 39 Fulton St., Nov 10, 1865" cds, pencil "Nov 11, 1865" docketing; most of reverse removed from paste-up removal, F.-V.F., a scarce express and city local usage handled outside Mexican and US mail systems.
