Among the signatories are Miriam Bernstein-Cohen (Maria Alexandrova) an Israeli actress, director, poet, and translator (1895–1991), who founded the first Hebrew-language periodical dedicated to theater in Palestine. Also signing is Menahem Natanovich Gnessin (1882–1951), an early Russian Jewish actor and Hebrew language instructor, who helped establish Habimah, the world's first professional Hebrew theater. Another signatory is Ari Kote (May 25, 1900 – October 6, 1980), an Israeli theater actor who immigrated to Israel in 1921, worked as a construction worker, and was among the founders of the Israeli National Theater in 1923. . .
