The first (11) is tied with a AUG 20 Martinsville VA small cds, The second use (12c) is tied with a JAN 9 Greenville NC large cds. 2017 Confederate Stamp Alliance certificate states, "The cover is genuine. The 12c stamp has a vertical preaffixing crease." It might be a tear and the certificate fails to mention the faults on the reverse, Fine. (Image)

(11) 10c Die A, franked on a cover on a printed document. Tied with a Jul 6 Richmond Vac ds. The flap has been opened to reveal the document with is now very weak. 2016 PFC (541328) states, "it is a genuine usage, the cover made from an unused printed document." Some wrinkles, Fine. (Image)

Two Ridgeway N.C. PAID 5 in box. The first is a rebacked front with Aug 21 . The item has been cleaned, 2016 PFC states, "it is a genuine usage on this rebacked cover front." The second cover is w/o backflap, small repair at top and small toned spots with Aug 24 date stamps and with notations on the reverse by Van Dyke MacBride theorizing that this might be a postmaster provisional. Also includes a 2016 PFC (838308) stating, it as a genuine usage, the cover with a small repair at top and with back flap." Both have been cleaned, somewhat blurred markings, Fine. (Image)
