1899-1900 three covers to New Orleans, canceled "Pt. Tampa & Havana R.P.O." (1 Feb 1899), "Havana, Batabano & Santiago R.P.O." (29 July, 1900) and "Isabela & Cienfuegos R.P.O." (31 July, 1900), mixed condition, fine (both military and civilian mail was transported via Traveling Post Offices using sea mail and railway lines, built by the Spanish) (Image)

1898-1902 Military Postal Stations in Cuba, collection of 31 covers and cards, written-up on 16 pages, presented in numerical and alphabetical order. The first Registry cancel was a double oval "Military Sta. No.1 NY" between the rings, with "Cuba" in the center, partial mourning cover to Pennsylvania, Military Station No.1 Santiago de Cuba, Mil.Sta.No.3 Guantanamo, Mil.Sta.No.5 San Luis, Mil.Sta.No.6 Manzanillo, Mil.Sta.No.7 Gibara, Mil.Sta.No.8 Holguin, Mil.Sta.No. 10 Havana, covers to San Francisco and to France, another to Switzerland, with "Cuba Havana" Registry label (Scott FX-HA1, $2,000), covers to Buenos Aires, Trieste, Austria, Mil.Sta.No.11 Puerto Principe (covers to Belgium and Germany), Mil.Sta.No.13 Cienfuegos, Mi.Sta.No.18 Trinidad, Mil.Sta.No.21 (Cardenas), Mil.Sta.No.24 (Palma Soriano), Mil.Sta.No.26 (Buena Vista), Mil.Sta.No.27 Matanzas, Mil.Sta.No.30 Santa Cruz, Mil.Sta.No.33 Sagua La Grande, Mil.Sta.No.34 Caibarien, plus Columbia Barracks Station.
