Card addressed to Buenos Aires bearing uncancelled Argentine 5c with signed greetings message "Souvenir de l'Expédition du Dr. Charcot, from Robert Paumelle (Paumelle Point on Booth Island in the Wilhelm Archipelago was named by Charcot after Paumelle, mess steward on the "Francis". 1914 Crocker Land Expedition, 3-page letter datelined "Jan.9. 1914 Etah, North Greenland", signed by Dr. Hunt, the surgeon for the expedition, which went searching for the non-existent Crocker Island on 11th March 1914 with the help of the Inuit. A rare historical document.
