ADEN: 1880 Eastern Telegraph Co red/buff 'TELEGRAM' envelope sealed with several strikes of the oval 'EASTERN/ ADEN/TELEGRAPH CO' cachet, to Réunion with Indian 1a brown block of 7 (4x2, less the first unit) tied by very fine 'ADEN/AUG 3 - B' duplex (Proud KD10), largely very fine strike of the boxed 'REGISTERED/ADEN/N AUG: 3' h/s (Proud R4: ERD by 4 years), 'LIGNE T/8/AOUT/80/....No 1' transit cds on the face.
ADEN: 1881 Eastern Telegraph Co black/white envelope endorsed "Telegram" in red, to Réunion with Indian 1a brown & 4a grey-green tied by very fine 'ADEN/DEC:24 - B' duplex (Proud KD10), largely superb strike of the scarce boxed 'REGISTERED/ADEN/N W/S ' h/s (Proud R3), sealed with seperate strikes of the oval 'EASTERN/ADEN/ TELEGRAPH CO' cachet, the flap removed.
ADEN: 1883 Eastern Telegraph Co red/buff 'TELEGRAM' envelope, to Mauritius with Indian 1a brown-purple & 4a grey-green tied by a largely very fine strike of the 'ADEN./OCT. 6. - B - [22]' duplex (Proud K11), largely superb strikes of the scarce boxed 'REGISTERED/ADEN/N W/S ' & 'R'-in-circle h/s (Proud R3 & 5), superb oval 'REGISTERED/No /18OC83/MAURITIUS' arrival d/s in red, small blemish on the reverse.
ADEN: 1889 Eastern Telegraph Co red/buff 'TELEGRAM' envelope, to Réunion with Indian 2a ultramarine & 3a brown-orange tied by two superb strikes of the 'B'-in-Bars h/s (Proud K13), equally fine strikes of the 'r'-in-circle and19½mm 'ADEN/REG/OC29/89' cds (Proud R5 & 6), very fine 'LIGNE T/11/NOV/89/PAQ FR No 3' transit cds in red on the face, repaired flap-tear.

ADEN: 1936 illustrated Eastern Telegraph Co blue/white envelope with 'ASSOCIATED WITH CABLE AND/ WIRELESS LIMITED' h/s in blue, to "Naval Wireless/Khormaksar/Aden" with India KGV ½a green & 3a6pi indigo tied by Aden cds, blue & black R label, very fine 'KHORMAKSAR/2JUN36' arrival cds; and a similar 1940 envelope used locally to "RAF Aden" with KGVI 1a.
