108 Parale blue on pink, good to large margins all around, unused with part original gum, some horizontal creasing, some thinning, good impression, and excellent fresh colour, an extremely rare unused classic of which only 20 have been recorded by Heimbüchler, superb appearance for this rarity. Re-prints without gum from circa 1891 that resemble the well-known “Gorjan re-prints” of 1891, but are distinct from these due to the paper used, printed from the worn original steel dies found in the postal museum in Bucharest; extremely rare and in perfect condition (the 54pa has a tiny pin hole in the margin well clear of design), with certificate Heimbuchler 2007. 1866 (Dec 17) Registered cover sent Focsani franked front and back with single 20 par black on thin rose paper, the stamp on the back with four large margins and shows the P flaw of "Par" with broken first leg, the stamp to the front is just touching top otherwise four margins, small tear top of cover, very fine examples.
