1885 (Mar.20) cover to Hamilton, Ontario via San Francisco with 6d & 2d Sidefaces tied by bold strike of Rays '79' canceller, adjacent strike of Type 1a HERBERTON datestamp (Type 1a unrecorded for Herberton by Manning), on reverse, transits for CAIRNS, SYDNEY & INDEPENDENT (Ottawa) plus HAMILTON arrival datestamp. Rare Colonial destination for the period. [Herberton PO opened 1880.]

July 1909 usage of "The Brisbane Information Letterette" (compiled & published by Comyns & Newman) from Brisbane to Lismore, N.S.W.; an advertising lettersheet provided to guests of "Cumbooquepa" Guest House in South Brisbane, the sheet provides views of Tweed Heads, Southport and Brisbane buildings as well as advertising for Queensland Railways, "Saltwood" at Sandgate, "Clonaver" at Southport, "Hotel Daniell" in Brisbane, "Hotel Pacific" at Tweed Heads, "The Mansion" in Brisbane, Northern Assurance Co., Morton Bay High School for girls, and others.
