1968 (Sep) DLR phosphor band trial, in three different colours - grey, turquoise blue & rose pink, each with two designs - larger head of 18thC gentleman in half tone & smaller in full tone set of six in UM blocks of four imperf, these trials are believed to be the first successful phosphor printing by DLR, the phosphor bands are printed by letterpress using a rubber stereo, c1979 Harrisons photogravure imperforate trial featuring the head of Thomas Richard Harrison printed in ultramarine on gummed paper.
